First start with macOS SonomaĪfter a a bit of setup (the file system had to be indexed, as it happens after every major update), I was able to use the MacBook Pro as usual and started adding the new widgets to my desktop. After that, the Macbook rebooted and there it was, the new moving start screen with the fields of the famed wine region Sonoma. ![]() Usually, these updates don’t break much and I have never had to revert an update – nevertheless, security first! Installation took only 20 minutes. Because I wasn’t sure if everything would work, I did a Time Machine backup before the process in case any problems would arise.
